Sleepy Time Tincture
Two challenges to getting a good night's sleep are not being about to fall asleep, or not being able to stay asleep. I, personally, have the joy of experiencing both of these. Of course, there are many reasons why we might experience these. For some of us, it is racing or circular thoughts keeping us awake (aka hamster wheel brain), for others it might be pain or discomfort. Of course, there are many other reasons, but these two are what I created this blend for specifically.
California Poppy is a multi talented plant friend. It is helpful for anxiety, insomnia, pain, and depression. Valerian is widely known to help with sleep problems and it can be very helpful when there is an anxiety component. And Passionflower is a master at slowing those pesky circular thoughts, allowing us to ease into sleep. Rounding out this tincture is Wild Lettuce, an herbal heavyweight in the sleep department, and also a marvelous friend when dealing with pain or discomfort.
Dosage will vary person to person, so you will have to experiment to find yours. Will cause drowsiness. Please use with caution.
